Job summary

StandardAero in Augusta, GA is seeking a Licensed Mechanic I, Engines for the 3rd shift to perform overhauls, major inspections, and heavy maintenance on Honeywell turbofan engines. You will use precision tools and OEM manuals to complete tasks.

Responsibilities include disassembling/reassembling engines, engine runs, and documenting work while applying service bulletins and airworthiness directives; FAA familiarity is preferred. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Licensed A&P Mechanic.
• Technical training on turbine engines for inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Must be available to work 3rd shift, with overtime as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Honeywell turbofan engines using precision tools.
• Disassemble and re-assemble Honeywell engine types and models.
• Remove and reinstall engines on aircraft for major periodic inspections.
• Perform engine runs and line maintenance as required.
• Document all work clearly and accurately; follow Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
