Job summary

Thrust Institute of Maintenance (TIM) seeks a Site Lead to be the on-site senior for a TIM campus, owning maintenance-training delivery and academic quality under FAA Part 147. You will lead instructional staff, ensure pass rates, and drive regulatory readiness while coordinating facilities and equipment uptime across the site.

The role advances TIM's instructional leadership track, recognizing mentoring, curriculum ownership, and cross-campus coordination as pathways to higher responsibility

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.
• Meets FAA Part 147 instructor eligibility.
• First-line leadership experience in scheduling, coaching, and team standards.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
• Subject-matter depth in avionics, powerplant, or structures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first-line leader for the site's instructional team; own instructor scheduling, teaching evaluations, coaching, and day-to-day academic quality.
• Deliver assigned course sections and labs to standard, modeling the teaching quality expected across the site.
• Maintain consistent, on-target student pass rates and learning outcomes across the site's programs.
• Own the site's operational compliance with FAA Part 147.
• Manage instructor scheduling and site capacity to meet enrollment and completion targets without compromising quality.
