Job summary

AIM Philadelphia campus is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor to deliver FAA Part 147-aligned curriculum in classroom and hangar settings. You will teach hands-on maintenance, mentor students pursuing AMT careers, and maintain student records while contributing to curriculum updates.

Qualifications

  • Min. 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate required.
  • Experience delivering hands-on instruction is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven training environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach FAA Part 147-aligned aviation maintenance curriculum.
  • Deliver hands-on instruction in classroom and active hangar environments.
  • Mentor students preparing for AMT careers.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.
  • Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership.
  • Help create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment.
