Job summary

Thrust Flight LLC, via the TIM campus in Fort Worth, seeks a Site Lead who is a certificated A&P mechanic and instructor to own the maintenance-training program at the location. This on-site senior role drives academic quality and compliant operations.

You will lead the instructional team, manage scheduling, ensure student outcomes, and uphold FAA Part 147 standards while coordinating with governance and facilities to optimize throughput and training delivery.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate and Part 147 instructor eligibility.
• First-line leadership experience—scheduling, coaching, and maintaining standards.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
• Subject-matter depth in avionics, powerplant, or structures preferred.
• Experience ensuring regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional team and ensure academic quality and student outcomes.
• Schedule instructors, conduct teaching evaluations, and coach staff.
• Maintain FAA Part 147 compliance and audit readiness with proper records.
• Oversee site capacity, throughput, and enrollment targets.
• Collaborate with Site Coordinator on facilities, tooling, and equipment uptime.
• Develop instructors and build bench depth for TIM career paths.
