Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Worker to perform repairs and troubleshooting on aircraft systems at the Norfolk location. You will follow orders from higher grade workers and may supervise jacking and towing.

The role requires a HS diploma, a valid driver's license, and at least three years of related experience; an A&P license counts as three years. Occasional travel and ability to obtain facility credentials, with US citizenship for credentials, may be required. Competitive benefits apply.

• Must be able to pass and maintain facility credentials; US Citizenship required for credentials at this location.

Responsibilities

• Repair aircraft following orders of higher grade worker.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft systems and components.
• Remove, reinstall, or replace defective parts and accessories.
• Enter maintenance work in records and document service actions.
• Supervise jacking and towing of aircraft when needed.
• Perform pre-flight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
