Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Worker to perform repairs and assist in troubleshooting on aircraft systems at a line maintenance station. You will remove, replace, and adjust parts as directed to keep aircraft in safe operating condition.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and about three years of related experience; an A&P license can substitute. Security clearance and citizenship requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Three (3) years’ related experience in the field.
• An A&P license shall be considered equivalent to three (3) years’ experience.
• May require ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
• May require travel.
• US Citizenship required for facility credentials/authorization.

Responsibilities

• Repair aircraft following orders of higher grade worker.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure and systems.
• Remove, clean, reinstall, or replace defective parts and components.
• Maintain maintenance records and enter work descriptions.
