Job summary

Embraer in Fort Lauderdale seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to inspect, repair, assemble, and test aircraft components in accordance with FAA and OEM data.

Must hold an A&P license and have 5–7 years of depot level maintenance on a single aircraft type, using power tools and test equipment. Responsibilities include following approved maintenance procedures, documenting work, and coordinating with the Maintenance Lead.

Qualifications

• A&P License is required.
• 5-7 years' experience with aircraft/general aviation on one aircraft type.
• Experience interpreting OEM or manufacturer data.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, assemble, and test aircraft components per shop orders and manufacturers' specs.
• Determine repair vs. replacement needs and obtain parts as required.
• Follow FAA-approved procedures and OEM data during maintenance.
• Sign off and document work packages; perform rework as needed.
