Job summary

Embraer in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician (A&P) to inspect, repair, assemble, and test aircraft components per OEM specifications. The role requires 5-7 years of general aviation maintenance and an active A&P license.

Work will involve following FAA procedures, using hand tools, and documenting all activities. Candidates will perform serviceability tests, review work packages, and coordinate with the Maintenance Lead to ensure airworthiness.

Qualifications

• A&P license and depot/aircraft maintenance experience highly preferred.
• Experience with general aviation and one aircraft type.
• Proficient in interpreting OEM work packages and technical data.
• Able to use power or pneumatic hand tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain aircraft mechanical systems to prevent failures.
• Perform routine inspections and checks on hydraulics, pneumatics, and rigging.
• Decide repairs, select parts, and prepare work orders.
• Follow FAA-approved procedures and OEM data for repairs.
• Document work and sign off on completed tasks.
