Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, FL is seeking an energetic server to support high-volume food service, presetting, and beverage service for members and guests. The role emphasizes attentive service and knowledge of menu features.

You will take orders, explain daily specials, monitor safety, and assist with room setups. Prior country club or upscale dining experience is preferred; English proficiency is required, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience as a Server in a country club or upscale dining.
• Exceptional guest service skills.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• English language literacy (read/write/speak).

• Prepares high-quality beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to order upon request.


• Proficiently take orders and serve members/guests according to Plantation Golf & Country Club standards and all local and state legal guidelines.


• Monitors members and their guests to ensure safety.


• Assists members with menu knowledge, specials and features.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• One + years experience as a Server in a country club, upscale hotel, or upscale dining environment.


• Exceptional guest service skills.


• Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during the entire shift.


• Ability to push, pull or otherwise move portable bar units from storage area to functional areas.


• Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.


• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Certifications: \"TIPS\" or equivalent responsible vendor training, ServSafe training.
