Job summary

Normandy Farm Hotel/Blue Bell County Club is seeking qualified individuals for a Server role in our upscale hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of a la carte serving experience, a passion for superior customer service, and a professional, friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities include greeting members, taking orders, suggesting pairings, and ensuring a superior dining experience. Must be available to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service standards and guest relations.
• Minimum of one year of a la carte serving experience; preferably in a private country club.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and obtain RAMP certification if not already done.

Arnie's Restaurant at Blue Bell Country Club is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. Job Summary

Restaurant Servers are responsible for positive Country Club Member interactions while serving members in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our members’ needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed. The right candidate will be passionate about food and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our members. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as an A la carte Server in a restaurant setting.

Must be available to be scheduled to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week Tuesday through Sunday AM and PM shift.

AM Shift (10:30AM - 4:30PM)

PM Shift (4:00Pm - 9:30PM)

This position will require you to complete a Responsible Alcohol Management Program to obtain RAMP certification

The hourly rate for this position starts at $18.00 per hour plus incentive pay. Pay rate is based on previous experience.

Server Functions:

• Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.
• Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome.
• Take customer’s food/drink orders while being polite, friendly, and helpful to our members.
• Able to suggest appropriate substitutions, wine pairings, sides, etc.
• Confirm orders accordingly to your assigned section and tables.
• Replenish drinks and wine along with providing coffee/dessert services in a timely manner.
• Cater to the members’ requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service.
• General clean-up (busing of plates, glassware, silverware, etc.)
• Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct.
• Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management.
• Reports to the Restaurant Manager

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be RAMP certified or willing to obtain RAMP certification for employment
• A minimum of one year of a la carte serving experience; preferably in a private country club setting.
• Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food, and beverage preparations as well as etiquette.
• Available to work weekends, day and evening shifts and major holidays.
• Abide by all Laws and company policies that regulate serving alcoholic beverages.
• Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance.
• Frequently Wash Hands for proper food handling
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance.
