Job summary

Acoufelt LLC in New York City seeks a Specification Manager (region 21.2, Manhattan north of 40th Street and remaining NY State) to grow product specifications within the architecture and design community. You will nurture relationships with architects and designers to weave Acoufelt solutions into project designs.

You will work with inside sales and the special projects team; you will present CEUs and conduct educational sessions; track opportunities in CRM and keep CRM pipeline accurate.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of success in architectural product sales or specification sales.
• Relationship-driven professional who enjoys working with architects and designers.
• Experience in consultative, solution-based sales in commercial interiors.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver CEUs.
• Proficient with CRM and Microsoft Office for tracking opportunities.
• Self-motivated, organized, able to manage multiple relationships.
• Based in New York City with reliable personal vehicle for travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with architects and designers to increase brand awareness and drive specification.
• Identify and create new opportunities by engaging A&D firms and presenting Acoufelt’s solutions in a consultative, problem-solving approach.
• Deliver compelling product presentations and educational sessions (CEUs) to design firms.
• Track and document all activities and opportunities in CRM with progress updates.
• Collaborate with inside sales and the special projects team to move opportunities toward pricing and bidding.
• Stay informed on industry trends and key projects to position Acoufelt in the market.
• Follow up with designers and stakeholders to stay top of mind during the specification process.
