Job summary

iBase-t seeks a Lean Operations Consultant to bring hands-on A&D shop-floor credibility to customer engagements.

You will identify friction and quantify impact, partnering with CVP and Expert Services to drive adoption of Solumina-based processes, not a pure software implementation role.

Strong emphasis on lean assessment, organizational change management, and shop-floor transformation; travel 40–50% across the US and abroad.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace and defense manufacturing operations with hands-on experience.
• Proven track record driving organizational change in A&D environments.
• Deep A&D shop floor knowledge: work order management, traveler control, quality inspection, FAI, NCR, DCMA, AS9100/NADCAP.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred; kaizen, value stream mapping, standard work, and PDCA required.
• Strong executive presence to challenge VP and Director-level operations with evidence-based recommendations.
• Ability and willingness to travel 40–50% of the time to customer sites in the US and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead lean assessments at customer facilities and identify friction points.
• Apply VSM, standard work analysis, time-and-motion, and gemba walks to map value loss.
• Translate findings into Solumina configuration priorities for ES and VRF alignment.
• Develop and execute site-specific OCM plans with measurable adoption milestones.
• Facilitate kaizen events and cross-functional workshops to document changes.
