Job summary

iBase-t is seeking a Lean Operations Consultant to drive lean transformation on aerospace and defense shop floors. You will lead structured assessments, identify process and configuration friction, and guide organizational change management with direct shop-floor credibility.

This is a hands-on, senior advisory role requiring deep manufacturing experience. You will collaborate with CVPs and Expert Services, translate findings into actionable Solumina configuration guidance, and travel frequently

Qualifications

10+ years in aerospace and defense manufacturing operations or industrial engineering.
Proven track record driving organizational change on the shop floor.
Deep knowledge of lean, Kaizen, VSM, and standard work.
Able to travel 40–50% for site engagements across the US and internationally.

Responsibilities

Conduct lean assessments at customer facilities, document current-state workflows, and identify friction points.
Develop site-specific OCM plans and build internal champions to sustain changes.
Translate assessment findings into Solumina configuration recommendations with ES.
Brief CVP on findings, align VRF KPIs, and support executive sessions with credible evidence.
