Job summary

Arrow Electronics seeks a Field Sales Representative I focused on the Aerospace & Defense segment to acquire new accounts and grow underpenetrated opportunities. You will pursue venture-capital-backed companies and convert qualified leads from Arrow's 360 campaigns into revenue.

Build relationships with executives, coordinate global transactions, and maximize margins while aligning Arrow solutions to customer needs. This role includes travel with a 60/40 split and office Mondays in Austin.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree and 2–4 years of related sales experience.
• Experience building relationships with executives and decision-makers.
• Ability to pursue and convert new accounts in aerospace/defense.

Responsibilities

• Drive new-account acquisition and expand aerospace/defense portfolios.
• Develop disciplined prospecting and follow-up cadence to convert leads.
• Develop opportunities, align Arrow solutions with customer needs, and maximize margins.
• Build relationships with C-level executives and key suppliers, stay informed on market trends.
• Work a 60/40 split with compensation including commission.
