Job summary

Bizzell Group seeks a Human Resources Staff Training Manager to deliver career training to students, maintain a safe classroom, and coordinate with counselors and staff. You will develop lessons, assess progress, and help create work-site learning experiences.

The role requires a teaching credential (or five years of CompTIA A+ experience), strong communication and organizational skills, and experience with youth. Experience with CIS updates and community outreach is a plus.

Qualifications

• Teaching certificate with a Computer Maintenance Technician endorsement.
• Or five years' experience with CompTIA A+ certification.
• Experience working with youth and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with career training instruction, direction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction; maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior and study habits; coordinate with counselors and staff to resolve training issues.
• Develop and prepare lessons; recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean training environment conducive to learning.
• Administer and correct tests; maintain progress and attendance reports including CIS updates.
• Assist in developing community linkages and volunteers for the career training programs department.
• Develop work sites in designated areas; monitor work sites and WBL placements.
• Assist students with job search and placement; participate in follow-up activities for graduates.
• Audit weekly OMS reports and report discrepancies to the manager.
