Chugach Government Solutions, LLC in Brooklyn, NY seeks a dedicated instructor to teach computer hardware, operating systems, troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals to Job Corps students, preparing them for entry‑level IT roles and the CompTIA A+ certification.

You will develop lessons, labs, and assessments, supervise progress, adhere to federal guidelines, and coordinate with partners to expand employer connections while maintaining safety and equity in the classroom.

Competenze

• Two years of related experience in computer repair, information technology, technical support, or a related field.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, troubleshooting, and basic networking.
• Ability to provide hands‑on instruction using computer hardware and software.
• Successful pass background check and drug test required on the contract.

• Provide students with basic direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons, laboratory exercises, assessments, and supplemental instructional materials.
• Provide instruction in computer hardware, operating systems, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Provide hands‑on instruction using computers, components, peripherals, tools, and applicable software.
• Prepare students for CompTIA A+ certification and related entry‑level IT employment.
