Qualifications

• Ability to provide hands-on instruction using computer hardware and software.
• Pass background check and drug test required on the contract.
• Preferred: Associate degree in IT and CompTIA A+ certification; NY teaching certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with basic direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons, labs, and assessments and supplemental instructional materials.
• Instruct in computer hardware, operating systems, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Prepare students for CompTIA A+ certification and related entry-level IT employment.
• Monitor student progress and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
• Maintain instructional equipment, tools, and software and coordinate with departments.
