Job summary

Tech Impact in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Workforce Instructor to deliver daily classroom instruction, provide technical support, and guide students toward IT certifications within our Workforce Development programs.

The role requires flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends, strong Microsoft Office and LMS skills, and experience with CRM systems. Cisco CC Instructor training and CompTIA A+ certification within 3 months are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Flexible schedule with occasional evenings or weekends may be needed.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM databases and LMS are preferred.
• Experience with diverse communities is preferred.
• Within 3 months, Cisco Certified Instructor training and CompTIA A+ certification are expected if not already attained.
• Minimum of three years of practical experience in the subject area or at least one year of technical instruction experience.
• Technical training or instructional experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily classroom instruction and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide technical support and ensure classroom technology functions for learning.
• Support students toward IT certifications including Cisco IT Essentials and CompTIA A+ prep.
• Adjust instructional strategies to meet program goals and student needs.
• Assist with admissions and outreach activities as needed.
• Maintain LMS data, monitor curriculum, and report progress to program managers.
• Support and participate in program outcomes and continuous improvement.
