Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking locum tenens physicians to cover a multi-OR facility in California. Shifts are 8 hours with days, evenings, and nights; coverage of 1–2 weeks per month; OB, vascular, spinal, neuro, thoracic, and orthopedic cases.

Must work nights/weekends; stroke-certified facility; paid malpractice; travel and housing advance; responsive Weatherby consultant support. Rates from $300–$400 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
• Coverage needed approx. 1–2 weeks per month.
• 7 operating rooms with a broad surgical case mix.
• General, spinal, epidural, regional, OB, neuro, thoracic cases.
• Complex vascular and complex orthopedic cases required.
• Stroke-certified facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for scheduled shifts across days, evenings, and nights.
• Submit time entries in the online portal.
• Coordinate with Weatherby consultant and maintain patient care standards across diverse cases.

From $300.00 to $400.00 hourly Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations. Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay.
