Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician to provide coverage in Hawthorne, CA. Shifts are 8 hours long, including days, evenings, and nights, with a requirement to work nights and weekends.

The facility handles a broad surgical case mix including general, spinal, epidural, regional, OB, neuro, thoracic, vascular, and complex orthopedic cases. Assignments typically involve 1–2 weeks per month with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing.

Qualifications

• Physician must be licensed to practice where assigned.
• Experience filling locum tenens shifts preferred.
• Board certification considered.

Responsibilities

• Cover 8-hour shifts including days, evenings, and nights.
• Handle a broad surgical case mix as listed: General, spinal, OB, neuro, thoracic.
• Collaborate with Weatherby consultant and coordinate travel arrangements.

From $300.00 to $400.00 hourlyRanges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
