Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking locum tenens physicians to cover a broad surgical caseload at a stroke-certified facility in California. Shifts include days, evenings and nights with 8-hour blocks; OB shifts run 7 am–7 pm and evenings 3 pm–7 am.

Candidates must be willing to work nights and weekends and coordinate via an online portal for assignments and time entry. Expect 1–2 weeks of coverage per month, with comprehensive support, paid malpractice, and pre-paid travel and housing.

Qualifications

• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Experience with a broad surgical case mix is preferred.
• Stroke-certified facility experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Cover 8-hour shifts—days, evenings, and nights.
• OB shift: 7 am–7 pm; Eve shift: 3 pm–7 am.
• Work with general, spinal, epidural, regional, OB, neuro, and thoracic cases.

From $300.00 to $400.00 hourly Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations. Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay.
