Job summary

Bluebonnet Trails Community Services seeks a qualified QMHP-CS embedded in Williamson County's Emergency Communications Center to deliver crisis intervention. You will assess callers, provide crisis support by phone, and coordinate care with MCOT, YCOT, and first responders.

The role requires a Bachelor's in human services (Master's preferred), valid TX driver license, and strong communication. Telephonic assessments, rapid decision-making, and collaboration across diverse teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet eligibility for QMHP-CS designation.
• Bachelor's in human services or related field required; if not, 24 credit hours in human services.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and driving status required.
• Ability to use multiple computer/database systems and document interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone-based crisis screening and assessment.
• Engage individuals in crisis with empathetic listening and de-escalation.
• Develop safety plans and link to crisis and community services.
• Coordinate with BTCS MCOT/YCOT, law enforcement, EMS, and partners.
• Document interventions within required timeframes and ensure data quality.
