Job summary

Bluebonnet Trails Community Services seeks a Crisis Clinician to deliver mobile crisis intervention across Burnet and Williamson Counties, Texas. The role involves rapid assessment, safety planning, follow-up, and linkage to ongoing services for children, youth, and adults in crisis.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in human services and at least two years of case management experience, with a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services is required.
• Minimum of two years of case management experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License or driving status maintained throughout employment.
• If degree is not in Human Services, 24 credits in a human services field.

Responsibilities

• Provides empathetic active listening and de-escalation.
• Engages in person-centered safety planning and problem solving.
• Ensures crisis follow-up and relapse prevention after the crisis.
• Communicates effectively with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Coordinates placement and partners with families, first responders, schools, hospitals, and agencies.
• Documents services using integrated database programs and stays organized.
• Willing to work independently and as part of a team; covers rotating on-call shifts.
