Job summary

Bluebonnet Trails Community MHMR Center is seeking a Crisis Clinician for Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) in Williamson and Burnet Counties, TX. The role delivers crisis intervention, screening, and linkage to ongoing services in diverse settings, including schools and ERs.

Required: Bachelor’s in Human Services with 2+ years case management, valid TX driver's license, and strong de-escalation skills. Master’s in HS preferred; licensure support and bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Human Services preferred.
• If degree is not in Human Services, 24 credits in a human services field.

Responsibilities

• Provides empathetic active listening and de-escalation.
• Engages in person-centered safety planning using critical thinking and problem solving.
• Ensures crisis follow-up and relapse prevention after resolution.
• Communicates effectively with diverse individuals and families.
• Coordinates placement with families, first responders, schools, hospitals, and community agencies.
• Documents services using integrated computer database programs and prioritizes tasks.
• Works independently and within a team with a flexible schedule.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities with daily on-call stipend.
• Cross-trains to support crisis programs (Diversion Center, Adult Crisis Respite, Youth Therapeutic Respite, Youth Crisis Outreach Team Plus and 911 Dispatch)
