Job summary

The Maine Public Utilities Commission's Emergency Services Communication Bureau is seeking a Systems Coordinator (Management Analyst I) to manage statewide 9-1-1 databases and support office functions. This role involves analyzing activities, preparing reports, and recommending policy changes, with extensive interaction with municipal officials, emergency providers, and the public.

Under limited supervision, you will work with the Deputy Director to improve procedures, maintain system

Qualifications

• Six years of education, training, and/or experience in improving organizational systems.
• Experience analyzing and reporting on system performance is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with municipal officials and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Researches and resolves 9-1-1 location discrepancy reports.
• Analyzes system operations and prepares statistical reports.
• Develops manuals outlining responsibilities of municipalities and providers.
• Prepares official correspondence and updates the ESCB website.
• Coordinates public education materials for PSAPs.
