Position Title: Systems Engineer – Level 3 (Senior)

Location: Tysons, VA

Core Hours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Salary: Up to $200,000 per year

Security Clearance: Top Secret (TS/SCI) with polygraph required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise with AWS infrastructure security and access controls.
• Adapt equipment and technology to meet user needs and design solutions.
• Teach non‑technical stakeholders how to navigate GitHub, Linux-based operating systems, and AWS services such as S3 and EC2.
• Apply software‑development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a STEM field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience executing software‑development activities and 2+ years in systems engineering, testing, or DevOps roles.
• Proven CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Git, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Agile development methodology familiarity.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix and version control.
