Position Title: DevOps Engineer
Position Level: Level 1 – Subject Matter Expert
Salary: Up to $245,000.00 per year
Core Hours: 9am to 4pm

Description
Position requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph. The DevOps Engineer will provide mission‑critical system support to the client, collaborating with development and other technology stakeholders to maintain, develop, and support IC enterprise products. Responsibilities include deploying and operating systems, automating operations, building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting issues across development, test, and production environments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supports software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and operational availability of production systems.
- Managing, building, configuring, administering, operating and maintaining all components that comprise the DevOps environment.
- Defining enterprise continuous integration/continuous deployment processes and best practices.
- Codifying DevOps best practices across the enterprise.
- Developing and maintaining scripts to automate tool deployment to an AWS cloud environment and other tasks.
- Scripting and maintaining build environments.
- Working with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience setting up tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues with two or more of the above tools.
- Experience working within a software development team and supporting developers.
- High school diploma and at least 20 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree and at least 15 years; or Doctorate and at least 13 years of relevant experience.
Optional Requirements
- Master’s degree in science, technical, or engineering discipline.
- AWS associate certification (Developer, Solution Architect, or SysOps Administrator).
- AWS professional certification (DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect).
- Experience with container orchestration using Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS/ECR.
- Experience with languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, and Unix shell scripting.
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet.
