Job summary

ClearView Healthcare Management is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Covington, TN for full-time day and night shifts. You will provide bedside care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and support coordination between patients, RNs, and physicians, while maintaining patient records and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state (Tennessee)
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients including personal hygiene maintenance
• Record the patients’ vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate)
• Collect patient health information
• Relay information between patients, registered nurses, and physicians
• Administer oral medications and injections
• Test a patient’s blood sugar levels
• Perform urinary catheter insertion and care
• Support LTC, geriatrics or rehab patients
• Assist patients with personal hygiene
• Monitor for changes in patients and report findings
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation of medical records
• Ask clarifying questions to RNs when needed
• Serve as a role model for ancillary staff
• Protect patient confidentiality of medical records
