Job summary

Matchbook Learning in Indianapolis seeks a 6th Grade Math Teacher to join a departmentalized middle school team. You will teach using Envision Math with fidelity and leverage data from Practice Buddy and MathXL to inform daily instruction.

The role emphasizes coaching, collaboration, and a growth mindset to help multilingual learners and all students succeed in a structured PBIS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a math/science/quantitative field; Indiana license or enrolled in a transition program.
• Strong middle-school math content knowledge.
• Willing to be coached and to receive instructional feedback.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using Envision Math with fidelity; all materials provided.
• Use Practice Buddy and MathXL data to inform daily instruction.
• Participate in data cycles to track student progress and tailor instruction.
• Support Multilingual Learners with SIOP-aligned strategies in math.
• Confer with students to build relationships and accountability.
• Maintain a high-expectation, structured classroom with PBIS.
• Engage in coaching cycles, walkthroughs, and professional development.
• Communicate student progress with families.
• Collaborate with flex teachers and instructional coaches to support growth.
