Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or quantitative field.
• Strong math content knowledge at the middle school level.
• Valid Indiana teaching license or enrollment in a state-approved transition-to-teaching program.
• Growth mindset and openness to coaching and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using Envision Math with fidelity — all materials are provided.
• Use Practice Buddy and MathXL data to inform daily and weekly instruction.
• Participate in weekly/bi-weekly data cycles — monitor student progress.
• Implement SIOP-aligned strategies to support Multilingual Learners in all math instruction.
• Confer with students to build individual relationships and academic accountability.
• Maintain a structured, high-expectation classroom environment using PBIS systems.
• Actively participate in coaching cycles, walkthroughs, and professional development.
• Communicate proactively with families about student progress.
• Collaborate with flex teachers, instructional coaches, and school leadership to support student growth.
