Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Indiana is seeking an Elementary Math Coach to bolster K–6 mathematics instruction. You will lead coaching cycles, align curriculum, and drive data-informed planning with teachers and administrators.

You will develop action plans, monitor student progress, and support PLCs while stay­ing current on math education trends. This grant-funded role focuses on equity and high-quality math teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Indiana teaching license.

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered coaching to K–6 math teachers through modeling, co-teaching, observation, and feedback.
• Support alignment to district curriculum maps, standards, and best practices.
• Analyze formative and summative data to inform instruction and identify needs.
• Develop targeted action plans to address math gaps and monitor progress.
• Coordinate data platforms to streamline assessment and planning.
• Allocate about 75% of time to coaching cycles.
• Collaborate to maintain curriculum fidelity and CFAs.
• Plan rigorous, standards-based lessons and scaffold instruction.
• Lead professional development and PLCs focused on math practice.
• Ensure integration of SPED/ML services into daily math support.
