Energy Jobline ZR is seeking skilled pipe welders for shipyard fabrication in Orange, VA. The role involves assembling, fitting, and joining pipes, reading complex blueprints, and executing welding across GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW in all positions, including overhead.

Strong ability to pass performance qualification tests and shipyard experience are required. Candidates should be comfortable working in confined spaces and aboard ships, with readiness to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipe fabrication and assembly.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated welding in multiple processes and positions.

Responsibilities

• Pipe fabrication: Assemble, fit and join pipes (carbon steel, stainless steel, copper-nickel).
• Blueprint reading: Interpret drawings, schematics and welding symbols to plan work sequence.
• Welding execution: Perform GMAW, SMAW, GTAW and FCAW in all positions, including overhead and mirror welding.
• Quality control: Inspect finished welds for defects and ensure compliance with marine codes.
