Job summary

Verde Clean is seeking a Lead Custodian to keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors. You will perform daily cleaning, restock supplies, monitor conditions, and support a collaborative team environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Pay: $19.00 per hour. Verde Clean is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages community involvement, safety, sustainability, and internal growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year custodial or janitorial experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, and safety procedures.
• Reliable and detail-oriented; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting.
• Restock restroom and facility supplies.
• Monitor facility conditions and report hazards.
• Support team and interact professionally with staff, visitors, and clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards across the facility.

Job description

As a Lead Custodian, you will help ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for employees, visitors, and guests.

• Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, and restrooms.
• Restock restroom and facility supplies, including paper products, soap, and sanitizing materials.
• Monitor facility conditions and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Support team members and maintain professional interactions with staff, visitors, and clients.
• Assist with maintaining overall cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the facility.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25-35 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Schedule and Pay

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
