Job summary

Verde Clean is seeking a Lead Custodian to join our team. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. We value a commitment to safety, sustainability, and social impact while supporting your personal growth.

As Lead Custodian, you will perform daily cleaning, restock supplies, monitor safety, and assist teammates. We promote from within and invest in development, with paid volunteer time and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year in janitorial or custodial work preferred. Leadership experience a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Know your way around cleaning tools and safety procedures. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Daily Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors, surfaces, restrooms, and more.
• Restock & Refill: Keep restrooms and supply areas stocked with paper goods, soap, and sanitizers.
• Monitor Safety: Identify and report hazards to ensure a secure environment.
• Support the Team: Assist coworkers and interact professionally with staff and visitors.
