Job summary

Verde Clean is seeking a dependable Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces across our facilities. You will perform cleaning, restocking, floor care, and support safety initiatives to ensure a positive environment for staff and visitors.

The position offers Fri-Sun 6am-6:30pm or 6pm-6:30am shifts with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour, reflecting our commitment to community and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols. Able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, wipe surfaces; clean and disinfect restrooms.
• Restocking Supplies: Replenish toilet paper, soap, paper towels; monitor dispensers.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Safety & Security: Identify hazards and report to supervisor; maintain a safe environment.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and team members.

Position Details

• Schedule: Fri-Sun 6am-6:30pm OR 6pm-6:30am

What You'll Do: As a Custodian, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone. Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters. You'll also clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Restocking Supplies: Keep restrooms stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Safety & Security: Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor. Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members, creating a positive and welcoming environment.
