Job summary

Verde Clean is seeking a dependable Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This role offers a pay of $16.50 per hour and opportunities to contribute to a positive workplace culture.

You will handle cleaning tasks, restocking supplies, floor care, safety duties, and friendly customer service for staff and visitors, supporting Verde Clean's sustainability and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols. Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
• Physical Requirements: Lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk; comfortable using cleaning tools.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters. You'll also clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Restocking Supplies: Keep restrooms stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Safety & Security: Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor. Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members, creating a positive and welcoming environment.
