Job summary

TransPak in Litchfield Park, AZ is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to lead warehouse inventory, coordinate stock levels, and mentor a hands‑on team. You’ll oversee movements, counts, and reporting while ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations.

The role requires forklift experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong Excel skills, with full‑time hours Monday–Friday and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• MS Office experience, especially Excel.
• At least 2 years in transportation, warehouse, or distribution.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
• Forklift experience; certification desired.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage all inventory movement: stocking, re‑stocking, and accounting for items.
• Maintain records of quantity, type, and value of inventory on hand.
• Participate in monthly/yearly cycle counts and reconcile issues.
• Coordinate inventory needs with Inventory Manager and site management.
• Track transport and distribution of tools and materials inventory.
• Prepare daily audits and inventory reports.
• Train and coach material handlers on safety, quality, and deadlines.
• Report equipment defects and maintain safe operation.

As an Inventory Supervisor with us, you’ll lead efforts with a hands‑on approach as you navigate inventory and materials and support a team

What You’ll Be Doing

Essential Functions

• Handle all aspects of inventory movement of materials and tools, including stocking, re‑stocking, and accounting for every item in the warehouse
• Compile and maintain records of the quantity, type, and value of the inventory on hand.
• Participates in monthly and year-end inventory cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation issues
• Coordinates inventory requirements and procurement details with the division’s Inventory Manager or other management, depending on site
• Track the transportation and distribution of tool and material inventory
• Oversees the records of all stocks and compiles evaluation reports, including daily audits
• Trains and coaches material handlers to ensure work is performed as expected for safety, quality and production deadlines
• May require maintaining certifications or licenses in order to properly train team members in proper handling (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
• Gives feedback about performance and job expectations to ensure respectful accountability.
• Collaborates with Inventory Manager or other members of management in partnership with HR to resolve employee concerns
• Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use. Follow all procedures and policies and know the equipment before using it
• Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts
• Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures

What We’d Like to See from You

Required Qualifications

• MS Office experience, primarily Excel
• At least 2 years’ experience in transportation, warehouse, distribution or other related environment.
• Excellent communications skills (written, verbal & listening) and interpersonal skills needed in order to interface with and influence all levels of personnel
• Prior experience using a forklift (certified is desired) and pallet jacks
• Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be Bilingual (English + Spanish)

Highly Desired Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 3+ years of experience in transportation, warehousing, and/or distribution environment
• Current valid Driver’s License, if there is a need for transporting finished goods. Must also be at least 23 years of age
• Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management and quality management
• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize daily work and meet all internal and external deadlines
