Job summary

TransPak, a packaging solutions provider, seeks a Class A CDL Driver in Hebron, KY, to support production operations with transporting, loading/unloading, and related duties. Local deliveries and on-site attendance are expected in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires at least 2 years of driving experience, a valid state license, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Forklift certification and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Valid state Driver's License and clean MVR; no DUIs.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds using pallet jacks or manually.
• Visual acuity 20/70 or better with sufficient field of vision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting products to customer sites in bobtail and tractor trucks.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers with forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle issues promptly.
• Maintain clean truck appearance and comply with SOPs.

Position Summary

The Class A CDL Driver position supports TransPak's production operations by transporting, loading and unloading and other duties according to standard operating procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing

Transporting Projects

• Safely transporting products to customer sites in bobtail and tractor trucks. Most sites are warehouses or factories and will utilize loading docks for loading and unloading but may be in other areas near customer site
• Driving in congested traffic in both urban and rural areas
• Obtaining signatures on delivery orders and giving the signed delivery orders to dispatch or manager
• Local deliveries and pick‑ups only

Loading and Unloading

• Load and Unload trucks and trailers in a strategic and efficient way by use of forklifts and/or pallet jacks

Pre and Post Trip

• Perform pre-trip truck inspections
• Ensure safety by reporting all vehicle issues or accidents immediately
• Responsible for clean truck presentation

Safe & Efficient Facility Team Member

• Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use. Follow all procedures, policies and know the equipment before using it
• Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts.
• Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures
• Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum driver's age requirement of 23 years old
• At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience
• Ability to safely drive trucks with valid residency state Driver's License
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 driving violations in the last three years. Driving record is monitored by Motor Vehicle Record tracking software. MVR should not include DUIs or other serious violations
• Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds using pallet jack or lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• The person must have a visual acuity level of 20/70 or better when looking through both eyes (or, one eye if the person has usable vision in only one eye). A person with usable vision in both eyes will meet the standard if the visual acuity level in one eye is worse than 20/70 so long as the visual acuity level in the other eye is 20/70 or better; (b) Field of vision: The person must have a field of vision of at least 110 degrees
