Job summary

UNC Lenoir Health Care in Lenoir, NC is seeking a contract surgical technologist for a 6-month, on-site assignment. The role is paid at $38.00 per hour with call pay of $63 per weekday and $92 on weekends. Overtime is paid time and a half with scheduling flexibility based on unit needs.

The contract offers no paid time off accrual, though 3 days of paid time may be used per contract. Contract technologists are encouraged for a permanent position if they remain in good standing.

Qualifications

• Two years of appropriate training.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications; additional certifications based on area may be required.
• Background check and drug test required for onboarding.
• Current Lenoir employees are not eligible unless separated for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Contract surgical technologist will be scheduled after all permanent employees are scheduled.
