UNC Lenoir Health Care in LENOIR MEM is offering an Internal Temporary Contract Surgical Technologist Program for a 6-month assignment without benefits. Compensation is $38 per hour with call pay of $63 on weekdays and $92 on weekends. Overtime is paid at 1½ times the hourly rate.

There is no paid time off accrual, and 3 days of PTO may be used per contract. Minimum qualifications include at least 2 years of appropriate training, health onboarding, background check, and drug test.

Qualifications

• Must hold active Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of appropriate training.

Responsibilities

• No paid time off accrual; contract employees may use 3 days paid time per contract.
• Scheduling will be based on unit needs.
• Overtime (time over 40 per week) paid at 1½.
• May need additional certifications based on assigned area of work.
