Job Summary:Toset up andoperatethe various machinery within the Shaft Seal Department to produce aerospace and industrial products.
Essential Job Functionsincludesandarenot limited to:
- Followsallsafetyand quality policies.
- Follows Company rules/policies.
- Communicates with supervision on regular basis.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area and equipment.
- Duties include working from prints, sketches, process sheets, travelers, and verbal instructions.
- Performs equipment set ups on minimum offivemachines within department.
- Makes adjustmentson equipment employee isoperating.
- Transport materials; perform dipping, coating, and wrapping of products as needed.
- Use of precision measuring equipment to verifyproduct is in spec.
- Perform operator capable lubrication of service to machines and equipment.
- Maintain records and paperworkand write legibly.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
JobRequirements:
- HSD or GED.
- Must meetrequirements forExport Control / ITAR Compliance(see Export Control / ITAR Compliance section for details).
- Minimumone year experience asSpecial SkilledGeneral Operator Shaft Seal.
- Familiarity and basic understanding of blueprints.
- Ability to train on shift other than home shift.
- Home shift Saturday & Sunday, 11A-11P and Monday, 3P-11P -- work 32 hours and get paid for 42!
Physical Requirements:
- Safety sensitive role.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Ability tolift upto 35 pounds.
