Job summary

Polymer Concepts Technologies, Inc in Hanover, PA seeks a 2nd shift Machining Set Up and Operator to set up and run machinery in the Shaft Seal Department for aerospace and industrial products.

You will follow safety and quality policies, read blueprints, and work from process sheets and travelers to ensure parts meet specifications. Weekly pay and a controlled environment support efficient production.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED required.
• Familiarity with blueprints or process sheets preferred.
• Ability to train on shift other than home shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality policies.
• Communicate with supervision on a regular basis.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Read prints, sketches, process sheets, travelers, and verbal instructions.
• Perform equipment set ups on minimum of five machines within department.
• Make adjustments on equipment as needed.
• Transport materials and perform dipping, coating, and wrapping of products as needed.
• Verify product is in spec using precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain records and paperwork legibly.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary:

Toset up andoperatethe various machinery within the Shaft Seal Department to produce aerospace and industrial products.

Essential Job Functionsincludesandarenot limited to:

• Followsallsafetyand quality policies.
• Follows Company rules/policies.
• Communicates with supervision on regular basis.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Duties include working from prints, sketches, process sheets, travelers, and verbal instructions.
• Performs equipment set ups on minimum offivemachines within department.
• Makes adjustmentson equipment employee isoperating.
• Transport materials; perform dipping, coating, and wrapping of products as needed.
• Use of precision measuring equipment to verifyproduct is in spec.
• Perform operator capable lubrication of service to machines and equipment.
• Maintain records and paperworkand write legibly.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

JobRequirements:

• HSD or GED.
• Must meetrequirements forExport Control / ITAR Compliance(see Export Control / ITAR Compliance section for details).
• Minimumone year experience asSpecial SkilledGeneral Operator Shaft Seal.
• Familiarity and basic understanding of blueprints.
• Ability to train on shift other than home shift.
• Home shift M-F, 3P-11P.

Physical Requirements:

• Safety sensitive role.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Ability tolift upto 35 pounds.
