As a 5th Grade Teacher, you will develop lesson plans aligned with established guidelines, establish rapport with students, staff, and parents, and motivate students to develop skills and knowledge for a strong educational foundation.

How You Will Impact Education
Instruction/Education Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement instruction that aligns with the company's philosophy, goals, and curriculum.
  • Create purposeful lesson plans with effective teaching strategies.
  • Present subject matter to maximize learning, using real-world examples.
  • Review student records to understand abilities and needs; maintain accurate records.
  • Maximize educational achievement for each student.
  • Use diverse learning modalities and differentiated instruction.
  • Assess student learning regularly and generate progress reports.
  • Refer students with learning problems to support staff.
  • Coordinate class field trips and prepare students for assessments.
  • Stay current in subject matter and contribute to curriculum improvement.
Providing a Conducive Classroom Environment
  • Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Maintain positive rapport and demonstrate patience and nurturing.
  • Ensure classroom safety and display student work.
  • Develop and enforce classroom rules fairly and consistently.
Instructional Planning
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with guidelines and goals.
  • Design activities to meet instructional objectives and student needs.
  • Prepare for classes and participate in curriculum planning.
  • Incorporate IEP diagnostic information into planning.
  • Protect resources needed for instruction.
School/Community Relations
  • Establish cooperative relationships and communicate with parents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and participate in parent activities.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities to promote school culture.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Job Requirements

Work Environment & Physical Demands
