The teacher will deliver NGSS-aligned instruction, develop engaging lesson plans, facilitate hands-on experiments, assess progress with data, differentiate for diverse learners, and collaborate with staff, families, and instructional coaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education K-6.
• Knowledge of science instruction and classroom management strategies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate 5th Grade Science Teacher to provide standards-based instruction and support student achievement in science. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, engage students in hands‑on and inquiry‑based learning, and use data to drive instruction while collaborating with staff and families to promote student success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned science instruction using Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving
• Facilitate hands‑on experiments and interactive learning experiences
• Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction and interventions
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching experience
• ESOL Endorsement

Work Schedule
