Job Summary

Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate 3rd Grade English Language Arts Teacher to provide standards-based instruction and support student achievement in literacy. The ideal candidate will create an engaging classroom environment, use data to drive instruction, and collaborate with staff and families to promote student success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned ELA instruction using Florida B.E.S.T. Standards
• Develop and implement lesson plans that support reading and writing growth
• Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction and interventions
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, instructional coaches, and school staff
• Participate in professional development and school meetings

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Valid Florida Elementary Education Certification (K–6 or PK–3)
• Knowledge of literacy instruction and classroom management strategies
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching experience
• ESOL Endorsement
• Reading Endorsement

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shift
