Job summary

Bluebonnet Trails Community MHMR Center is seeking a dedicated Case Manager in Round Rock, TX to provide recovery‑oriented case management under supervision. You will perform psychosocial assessments, develop Person‑Centered Recovery Plans, and ensure detailed documentation in the electronic health record.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Job description

Overview

In support of our mission to improve the health and independence of the individuals we serve, the Case Manager provides recovery-oriented case management services under the supervision of the Clinical Program Manager. Responsibilities include skill-building and medication education, psychosocial and emotional needs assessments, and development of Person-Centered Recovery Plans. Services are delivered in collaboration with a multidisciplinary recovery team and documented in the electronic health record.

These services promote recovery and wellness, support community integration, and enhance independent living and overall quality of life. The role requires detailed and accurate electronic documentation and strict adherence to agency and state guidelines. At least 55% of working hours must be dedicated to direct service.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field. Demonstrates understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, recovery-oriented environment and build meaningful connections with individuals served. A valid Texas driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment. If the degree is not in Human Services, a minimum of 24 credit hours in a human services-related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred. At least one year of experience in wellness and recovery support services in mental health, substance use treatment, and/or crisis intervention and screening. Active pursuit of clinical licensure in counseling, behavior analysis, social work, family therapy, or related discipline is encouraged, with preference given to those with advanced or full licensure. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is valued. Experience with concurrent (real-time) documentation practices is desirable. Current licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly Salary Range: $21.46 – $28.71
  • Additional incentives: up to $.75/hour for bilingual capacity
  • Up to $4.00/hour for tenure with BTCS
  • $1.00/hour for prior experience in a similar role
  • $1.00/hour for Associate Licensure/Advanced Licensure
  • $.50/hour for LCDC Licensure
