Job summary

Siemens Energy in Fort Payne, Alabama is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist for our turbine generator component factory on a 4th shift (Fri–Sun 5 PM–5:30 AM). You will perform hands-on assembly, use varied tools, and ensure adherence to detailed drawings to produce high-quality parts in a climate-controlled environment.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, safety and quality mindset, and hands-on manufacturing experience; technical training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification in manufacturing is a plus.
• A strong safety and quality mindset is a must.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred, especially in energy sectors.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or learn.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, fabrication, and assembly of turbine generator components.
• Use various hand tools and machinery to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure precision in manufacturing.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
