Job summary

Siemens Energy in Fort Payne, Alabama is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist for 2nd shift (Mon–Thu 3:30 PM–2:00 AM) to assemble turbine generator components in a climate-controlled plant.

You will use hand tools and machinery, read blueprints, and perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications, while maintaining a safe, organized work area. Join a world-class team delivering high-quality electrical components for generators and supporting production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• Must maintain strong safety and quality mindset.
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, fabrication, and assembly of turbine generator components.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery to complete tasks accurately.
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products against specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
