Neighborhood House Charter School (NHCS) seeks a 4th Grade Math/Science Teacher for SY26-27 at the Queen Street campus in Dorchester. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m.–4 p.m.; salary placement follows the collective bargaining agreement and MTEL licensure.

Two years of teaching experience and a Bachelor's degree are preferred; Master's degree is a plus. You will build strong relationships with students to support both academic growth and social-emotional development, thrive in a warm, demanding

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Passing MTEL in Communications & Literacy and MTEL in the content area(s).
• SEI Endorsement required within first year.
• Two years teaching experience preferred.
• Commitment to anti-racist, culturally responsive and restorative practices.
• Warm Demanding ethos with high expectations and care for students.

Responsabilidades

• Build strong relationships with students to support academic and SEL growth.
• Teach 4th grade math and science at NHCS Queen Street campus.
• Ensure MTEL/licensure requirements are met within the first year of employment.
• Support school-wide efforts toward equity and inclusion.
