NHCS is hiring a 4th Grade STEM Teacher to join our team at the Queen Street campus in Dorchester. You will teach Math and Science, build strong relationships with students, and tailor instruction to each scholar's learning style.

The role requires a Bachelor's, MTEL licensure in relevant areas, and SEI endorsement within the first year. Two years of teaching experience and a commitment to anti-racist, culturally responsive practice are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Passing MTEL in Communications & Literacy and MTEL in the content area.
• SEI Endorsement within first year of employment.
• Two years teaching experience preferred.
• Commitment to anti-racist, culturally responsive practices.
• Warm Demanding ethos with high expectations for students.

Responsabilidades

• Teach 4th Grade Math and Science.
• Build strong relationships to support student growth and SEL.
• Assess and support individual learning styles.
• Ensure alignment with MTEL requirements and NHCS standards.
• Uphold NHCS equity and anti-racist practices.
• Work hours Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m.–4 p.m. at NHCS Queen Street campus.
